Wow...Xanga sure has changed in my absence.  I'm surprised that my site still exists after all of this time.  It really is quite amazing.

So an update on my life in the last couple years.....I don't think I'll go into much detail....it would take forever.  So how about a couple of highlights!

School is still going.  One and a half years to go!  Then the real world....yikes!

I've got a pretty stellar girlfriend now if I do say so myself.  You should be jealous.  I know I would be if I were you!

I'm still plucking away at the guitar.  I play it more and more.  It' s come to the point where just playing other peoples songs gets kind of old, so I've tried to make up my own.  It's harder than it looks....and it looks pretty hard

Well....that's a couple of years in a very small nutshell.  Smaller than a peanut.  Maybe the weird peanut shells that only have one peanut inside instead of two.  Yeah....that's it!

You should comment if you still read Xanga....I'm sure the numbers have dropped a lot.

-Daniel-

P.S. All the stuff you can put in your posts now confuse me....I think I'll just stick to text!

Well, it's been a very long time...and it will probably be a really long time until the next one as well.

For appetizers, my MOM just turned 50!!! (Sorry if you didn't want the Xanga world to know.)  She is by far the coolest mom in the whole world and I take forgranted how  blessed I've been to have her in my life.  So, thank you Mom!  I know that doesn't do the justice that it should, but it's a start at least.

For entree, there was a retreat here in Manhattan this past weekend that had an AMAZING speaker!  He was really easy to understand and he was really good about keeping your attention.  It also made me reevaluate my walk with Christ.  I've seen so many areas that are lacking, and I really want to make them un-lacking-ish.

For seconds, I have to say that I really really enjoy our Bible study in Mark.  I agree with Bob when he says, "It's the gospel in comic book form."  It is action scene after action scene after action scene.  I'm also really excited because the Bible study is set up in a way that is getting me to start asking more and more questions about the passage when I read it, which is something I haven't really done too much in the past.  It's been really good.

For desert, I mailed my application to STP today, and I'm uber excited about it.  I know that it will be one of the best spent summers that I will ever have, and I feel like a little kid in a candy store just thinking about it right now.

"Actually, I don't really know anything about the ladies either. I mean I do! I mean-WHGT! JGTH! YES I'M AWESOME!"

Okay...it's Thanksgiving break and I haven't updated in a really long time.  Let's see....where to begin...?

Thanksgiving break has been really really fun.  We've eaten way too much food, which is our familiy tradition...along with playing lots of games and having lots of fun.  Another thing that is stellar is that I'll get a new brother in-law in a few weeks.  He's a pretty tight dude, so it's cool.  Umm...I have guitar hero II and it's beyond amazing.  It's good to not have to worry about homework during the break.  And I pretty much just love my family.

The End!!!

So, I gave her long enough, and if you haven't heard it from her yet, then I'm sorry, but....MY SISTER IS ENGAGED!!!!!!

She got engaged Friday night to a pretty stellar guy, and get this...since then they have the place booked, the cake set up, the minister to marry them, the dress, the photographer, the musician, the fabric picked out for the bridesmaids, the dj....pretty much all the big things except for flowers.  And this has all taken place in the past five days.  It's amazing how God is making everything fall into place.

So, I'm ready to go back to school.  It will be much fun.  I have a pretty amazing roomate, my cousin will be up there, my sister and future brother-in-law will be there.....I'm just excited.

Well, that sounds like the end of the update,

ENDED!!!
